Infusion IV Therapy

Infusion therapy (also known as IV or intravenous therapy) involves the administration of medication through a catheter as prescribed by the patient's doctor. It is prescribed when a patient's condition cannot be treated effectively by oral medications.

Our Dedicated Infusion Team

At Mangold Memorial Infusion Center, you can rely on our registered nurses and trained pharmacists who have specialized training in IV infusion therapy and are focused on patient safety and comfort. Each patient is treated individually and given full attention from staff. Our dedicated space inside the hospital prevents patients from having to be seen in the Emergency Room and decreases wait times to provide patients a positive experience.

Your Comfort & Amenities

Infusion therapy services for IV antibiotics and chronic diseases will be provided on the ground floor of the hospital in a friendly, welcoming environment. The infusion center is furnished with accommodating, plush recliners to ensure you are comfortable and relaxed while our dedicated staff attentively serve your needs. Free public Wi-Fi help pass the time while you receive infusion therapy in our dedicated space.

A variety of appointment options will be available Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm, including options for daily IV therapy if needed.

Insurance Coverage & Cost Savings

Insurance Coverage

Most major insurance carriers will be accepted, including state and federally funded plans. Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and commercially-insured patients qualify for outpatient infusion therapy. Even so, healthcare services can be increasingly difficult to approve with insurance companies.

In order to prevent patients from receiving unexpected, costly bills for these services, our team of skilled professionals will complete the insurance verification process, as well as obtain any needed insurance authorizations on your behalf.

Cost Savings
Outpatient Infusion Therapy is a benefit on most insurance policies and can save patients hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in out-of-pocket expenses compared to inpatient hospitalization, emergency room services and home health services. Receiving IV therapy close to home will also save patients time and travel expenses. A wide variety of payment options will be provided to further ease any financial responsibilities for patients.
