Medical Technologist - laboratory
Laboratory Department is need of a Medical Technologist for our busy hospital.
Duties: Performs laboratory technical procedures and analysis. Obtains specimens from patients and performs established clinical test and procedures. Performs complex tests on other body fluids, such as: biological, chemical, hematological, immunological, microscopic and bacteriological test. Analyzes samples for chemical content or reaction, determine concentrations of compounds, and type and cross match samples for blood transfusions. Interprets test results. Follows laboratory policies and procedures for instrument and equipment calibration and maintenance.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related Laboratory Sciences; ASCP or AMT or equivalent certification; full-time employment
