Position Summary:
This position includes responsibilities in the following areas:
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize equipment used throughout the facility.
• Stock and maintain appropriate levels of supplies and instruments.
• Maintain accurate records for procedures, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist with the daily storage, preparation, and distribution of equipment and supplies.
• Assist with daily inventory throughout the facility.
• Process item and charge stickers for patient billing.
• Work in the endoscopy lab as needed.
• Prepare endoscopes for use.
• Clean endoscopes.
• Learn and build skills in endoscopic procedures through on-the-job training and/or certified technician courses.
Qualifications:
• Seeking a highly motivated individual interested in building a long-term career in this area.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS (CPR) certification is preferred at hire; candidates without it must obtain certification after being hired.
• Previous health care experience preferred.
